1. General information
a. Pneumatic conveying is a process by which bulk materials
are transferred using gas flow as a conveying medium in the
pipeline.
b. The conveying system was developed by our company borrowing
ideas from Taiyo Co., Ltd and Whirl-air Inc and passed the examine
in provincial level in 1990. This system is controlled by PC
automatically.
Target materials are put into the hopper and become whirl with
air by compressed air and jet nozzle. Then the mixture moves
along pipeline to receiving bin, where materials separates with
air
2. Features:
a. Long distance conveying available. And destination points
can be selected by shunting track and diverter switch. One supply
hopper can transfer materials to different end use points, or
different supply hoppers to single end use point. This system
delivers target materials to one receiving bin with two supply
hoppers.
b. The system transports materials with hopper, conveying
pipeline, booster shunting track, outlet valve. Conveying pipeline
is fixed along pillows of workshop. Space efficiency and easy
layout.
c. The process from supply hopper to receiving bin is carried
out automatically. Labor saving.
d. Air and materials move slowly in pipeline in a condition
of suspension.No wear to conveying line and minimal or nil product
loss or degradation.
e. The whole system is totally sealed with supply silo closed
and bag removal in discharging point. Dense phase conveying
at relatively low velocity. No powder leak, no pollution to
environment.
3. Usage:
The conveying system can transfer various materials, such
as:
a. Foundry material: mold sand, returned sand, porcelain clay,
quartz sand, still piling.
b. Chemicals: PVC powder, nylon plastic, cement, alkali, mixed
material
c. Various granule and powder with moisture content less than
15%.
4. Technical data:
a. Transport pressure: 0.2Mpa 0.4Mpa(according to material’s
gravity)
b. Air source pressure required: not less than 0.45Mpa
c. Material to air ratio: material 45kg~85kg/kg air
d. Transfer velocity: initial 6m/s to 12m/s finally.
e. Transfer distance: height 50m, 2000m horizontally. |
